Leadership

Joseph is the lead pastor of EMBC. He and his wife Kinsley have two boys, Camden and Cohen. Although he has served as a pastor all over the state of Alabama, and traveled extensively preaching and working in missions, Tuscaloosa is home. He graduated from the University of Alabama before earning his Masters of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School. His passion is reaching those far from God, and helping them become fully devoted disciples of Jesus.

Dr. Elizabeth Lee grew up at EMBC, and has faithfully served for many years. In the absence of worship leadership, she stepped into the role as an interim worship leader. Since that time she has flourished in the role, and is an important part of our church family's worship experience while she also works as a full-time medical doctor. She and her husband, Reese, have three daughters, Caroline, Evelyn, and Vivian.

Phillip has been a part of the EMBC family from the time he was born. His grandfather, Doug Reeves, was the founding pastor of EMBC. Phillip spent years running from God, only to find himself being called into ministry. He has a passion to reach the next generation, and his love for students is obvious in the way he ministers to them and works to grow EMBC Youth. He and his wife, Morgan, have two sons, TK and Beau. 

Cindi has been serving EMBC on staff for several years, and she has been a faithful member for even longer.
